1)弱光非线性效应(Nonlinear effects of Weak-Light

以光折变效应为典型代表的弱光非线性效应在贝尔实验室中被Ashkin等人观测到。和强光非线性相比,弱光非线性效应不要求很强的功率。拿光折变效应来说,其更关注入射光场对介质极化率产生的空间调制,只要辐照介质的时间够长,对弱光(mW,甚至μW)就能够产生足够大的光折射率改变,产生非线性效应。弱光非线性光学的出现,给非线性光学增添了更多研究领域,也使光子学技术应用发生了革命性的变化。弱光非线性效应已经在光存储、信息处理、信息运输等各个方面得到了广泛应用。我们主要研究非相干非线性光学包括非相干光调制不稳定性及其应用。  

2)新型光场调控及应用(Manipulation of novel beams and their appications)

主要研究自加速光场调控和应用。光束在产生过程中通过设定的相位自调制,可以以自干涉的方式实现横向自弯曲的传播模式,这种传播模式对应的光束被称为自加速光束(Self-acceleratingBeams。自加速光束在一定的传播距离尺度上保持了横向自加速、无衍射和自修复的传播特性,其在很多领域如微粒操控、等离子体、时空光弹、表面等离子激元、激光微纳加工、自拐弯电子束、超分辨成像等各个领域都具有应用价值。

 

 

3)光镊 (Optical Tweezers  

主要研究光镊的调控和应用。光在传播过程中遇到微纳颗粒或者生物微小组织如细胞、细菌、或者蛋白质、DNA等目标时方向发生改变,光子动量发生变化,导致光散射力和光梯度力产生,捕获住目标形成光镊。我们主要设计新型光镊去研究生物体样本中的形变和动力学特性,这些往往导致其生理功能的变化,引起一些人类疾病,我们的研究将为有关疾病的探索和治疗提供帮助。

每年招收1-2名硕士研究生加入,同时也指导1-2组大学生创新创业计划,希望是带着求知欲和兴趣过来的,能好好的踏实的主动的做些科研工作
